George Virl Osmond was born to Rulon and Laverna Osmond in Etna, Wyoming.

Olive May Davis was born to Tom and Vera Davis in Samaria, Idaho.

George Osmond wed Olive Davis in the Salt Lake City Temple, Utah.

California ~ Lennon Sisters try to set up audition for the brothers fo r
Lawrence Welk.
Los Angeles, CA ~ Olympic Boxing Arena - Brothers perform one show
Anaheim, CA ~ Disneyland - family goes for a day of fun before heading back
to Utah. While they were there they are introduced to Tommy Walker after
being heard singing along with barbershop group. He hires them to sing at
the park.
Anaheim, CA ~ Disneyland - December - brothers do 30 shows - sometimes three
a night.
1962
December 20 ~ Brother's film the TV Special "Disney After Dark".
Andy Williams TV Show airs with the brothers - they sing "Ding Dong Daddy
From Dumas" and "Side by Side".
Family moves from Utah to California.
1963
April 16th ~ James Arthur Osmond was born at 6:33 am weighing in at 8 lbs.
June ~ "Songs We Sang on the Andy Williams Show" by four brothers (Alan,
Wayne, Merrill & Jay) was released.
July ~ Pekin, IL - State Fair Brothers perform with Andy Williams.
Chicago, IL - McCormick Palace - Brothers perform with Andy Williams. Donny
flies in to join the brothers for the show.
September ~Travels of Jamie McPheeters TV series begins Brothers are
semi-regulars.
Premier "Travels of Jamie McPheeters" LP was released. One side gave a
preview of the TV show and the other side featured songs by the Osmond
Brothers.
December ~ "We sing You a Merry Christmas" LP released. There are three
versions of this album. One version includes the song "White Christmas".
12th ~ Andy Williams TV Show - Donny makes his debut, he sings "Ain't She
Sweet".
Five Brothers begin work on TV movie for Bob Hope Theater, "The Seven Little
Foys".
Andy Williams TV Show ~ Marie makes her first appearance with the brothers.
She was three years old.
Brothers sing ~ "Be My Baby Bumble Bee/Silver in My Mothers' Hair".
Brothers Single ~ "Theme of Travels of Jamie McPheeters/Aura Lee".

snapping pictures and the next days paper showed "Merrill Osmond sticking
his tongue out at the Queen".
23rd ~ London England - They visit the London's exhibit of Tutankhamen.

Indianapolis, Indiana ~ Convention Center and also appeared at the

Premier "Travels of Jamie McPheeters" LP was released. One side gave a

Team Fund. After the show they are presented to the Queen. As they were
introduced to the Queen, Merrill licked his lips. Photographers were
snapping pictures and the next days paper showed "Merrill Osmond sticking
his tongue out at the Queen".
23rd ~ London England - They visit the London's exhibit of Tutankhamen.
